Aigües inaugurates the “Month of the Mountain” on June 1, 2013 with an exhibition of oils on the world’s 14 highest peaks (20.00 hours, Culture Hall) together with the screening of the audiovisual “From Alicante to Everest” by Cristóbal Sala, mayor of La Torre de les Maçanes and pioneer of mountaineering in the province, at 8:30 p.m. Tomorrow there will be a hiking trail and activities will continue until June 30 with more hiking and a rock climbing course.
